BYRON'S HOCKEYLAND
Ray Bourque with LAST HURRAH patch:
Fake Jersey Pages
This is a jersey that came from the Boston area. Its a Custom
Crafted special and with the photos below I will show you what is wrong with the
jersey. Also you will see this jersey compared to a Last Hurrah patch Neely that
came from the same source. The wear on both seem to be made by the same
instrument.

This is the front view of the Bourque. It has the real patch
Last Hurrah Patch on the jersey. This was the patch that the jerseys had on them
when the last game was played at the Boston Gardens before it was torn down. The
game was a preseason game so a lot of the jerseys from this set were from
different years and had different year tags in them. To my knowledge the Bruins
did not sell the real patch at all. Custom Crafted made them. The entire patch
is rubberized. All the writing and colors on the patch are raised off the
backing.

These are the two sleeves of the Bourque Jersey, notice how the red mark appears to have been made by the same instrument. It starts on one sleeve and appears to continue on the other. So I guess Bourque ran into the same spot on the boards twice, while wearing this jersey and did it on opposite sleeves, so he hit the spot coming and going. This is a classic custom crafted special. They always have this red mark that's the wrong color. The other amazing thing about this red color that appears on custom crafter special jerseys is that we can never find it on other teams jerseys. Now wouldn't it seem logical if this red mark gets on the home Bruins jersey, that we would see this shade of red on away jerseys from other teams that would have played in Boston. The only time we see this red is on jerseys that we call custom crafted specials

Here is the custom crafted logo inside the hem of the Bourque.
Not unusual with this set of jersey. But does show that this jersey was once
owed by Custom Crafted.

Here is another view of the red mark on one of the Bourque sleeves.

Now the Bourque sleeve is the lower sleeve in this picture and
the other sleeve is from a Neely that came from the same source. Notice the
marks a re similar.

These two jerseys came from the Boston Area and were suppose to have come directly from Custom Crafted. I was able to track them from the collector whom sent them to me to a guy whom said he got them directly from custom crafted. These jersey are nothing more than authentic jerseys that were altered in a attempt to pass them off as game worn. They are classic custom crafted specials.
