Kevin Hatcher

Above is a Kevin Hatcher Washington Capitals jersey. The problem with this jersey is that the wear on the outside has been faked. You will see the fake wear in the next few pictures. If the outside wear was real, then the inside wear doesn't match cause there is none. If this jersey has this much real game wear on it you would certainly have seen real game wear on the inside. This jersey does have salt in the fight strap, which means either this was a one game wonder from the team and then altered to appear more worn than it was, which is not likely. Or it is a authentic replica that someone wore and that's how the salt got in the fight strap. Notice in the above picture the right sleeves arm pit. There's a black mark there, a very unusual place to have game wear. You would think there would be from being hooked. Well each time we investigate wear under the arms we look at hundreds of jerseys and find none.

Notice the black marks on the front of the jersey. They all go in the same direction and appear to have been made bye the same instrument. The one down the middle goes right up to the collar. If Hatcher had this on when it happened he would have not need to shave for week's, nor would he have been able to. The mark continues in a direction that indicates to me it was made while not being worn.
These
are more pictures of the marks on the front.
Another view.

This photos show the mark on the front and a mark that's on the sleeve, very similar.

Above shows that the back of the jersey to had wear manufactured on it, just like the front. So based on what I have shown you here and other physical evidence its my opinion that this jersey is not a game worn Hatcher jersey, but a authentic replica that was altered in a attempt to pass it off as a game worn jersey when its not. Interesting point is that the following jersey also came from the same dealer at the same time. There is a Dave Manson Chicago Black Hawk with the same wear pattern as this Hatcher in this section
